Project Legacy is an empowerment program for youth of color. We are a community of people, adults, young adults and youth, striving for a better future and supporting one another along the way. Project Legacy is more than an after school program.

Here, we provide wraparound support to help our youth achieve their goals for a better life including education, physical health and emotional and mental health. Our programs range from weekly Healing Circles to study tables and individualized mental health support.

What we require of Project Legacy youth:

Willingness

The desire for a better life and the attitude that they will do whatever it takes to create a positive future for themselves.

Remain Chemical-Free

While in our program, youth must remain abstinent from all mood-altering substances. No substance use of any kind is allowed, including weed and underage drinking. If youth are unable to stop on their own or are struggling with substance use, we will assist them in accessing treatment and offer support in becoming and remaining drug-free.
