Due to inclement weather on February 20th, our open house has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 6th from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Join us for an open house at our new home, the Gage East Empowerment Center! Come celebrate with us and stop by for a tour, refreshments and a brief program at 6pm.

This year, we saw our youth accomplish many of their goals like graduating high school, getting jobs, renting apartments and starting college. Tomorrow, you'll get to hear a few of these success stories and learn how you can get involved in the work of inspiring youth of color to reach for new opportunities and experiences.

Celebrating our new space is more than celebrating a building. The move to the empowerment center means more safety and stability for our youth as they embrace the new space as their home for groups, support and resources.

"Our new offices at The Empowerment Center provide us with a permanent home where our services can expand and better meet the needs of our youth," says Project Legacy Executive Director, Karen Edmonds. "Over and over, I hear from our young people that they are grateful for this beautiful space where they can come any time to get the support and resources they need as they heal from their pasts and move forward in realizing their dreams. We are thankful to everyone in our community who worked to make The Empowerment Center a reality."

We're looking forward to joining you for an evening of celebration to extend our gratitude and share how we can move forward together.

We'll see you on Tuesday, March 6th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Gage East Empowerment Center, located at 930 40th St NW, Rochester, MN 55901, and look forward to sharing about our work and plans for the year ahead!

If you can't make it to our open house, tune into our Facebook page for updates and news, or consider giving a one-time gift or a monthly donation to Project Legacy was we build trust and ignite hope in youth of color in Rochester and beyond.
